Job summary

Everfox is seeking a Contracts Manager to negotiate and manage government and commercial contracts, partnering with Sales, Legal, and Operations to advance business objectives while mitigating risk in controlled environments.

The role emphasizes direct interaction with Contracting Officers, strong risk assessment, and ensuring compliance with DFARS, ITAR/EAR, and other regulations. TS/SCI preferred; hybrid work in the DC area may apply.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of FAR and DFARS, including cybersecurity clauses and other U.S. government acquisition rules.
• Direct engagement with Contracting Officers, prime contractors, and procurement teams.
• Self-driven professional who can work with minimal oversight in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical background using data to drive process improvements.
• Experience applying export controls (ITAR/EAR) to tech transactions.
• Ability to assess risk and brief leadership on risk/reward trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Own negotiation, structuring, and administration of government and commercial contracts.
• Collaborate with Sales, Legal, and Operations to structure deals while managing risk.
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS, ITAR/EAR, and agency requirements.
• Negotiate a broad mix of contract types and engage contracting officers and primes.
• Support post-award administration including modifications and closeout.
• Contribute to process improvements, templates, and workflow automation.
