Qualifications

• 15+ years of sophisticated legal experience.
• In-house experience with government contracting.
• Deep knowledge of federal government contracting (FAR/DFARS).
• Experience with prime and subcontract agreements.
• Experience advising executives and/or boards.
• Active Top Secret clearance or classified environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Advise senior executives on complex legal and regulatory matters.
• Provide strategic counsel on federal government contracting requirements.
• Negotiate prime, subcontract, teaming, JV, and vendor agreements.
• Advise on FAR, DFARS, DCAA, CAS, ITAR/EAR, CMMC requirements.
• Identify and mitigate legal and regulatory risk.
• Support government audits, investigations, disputes, and compliance matters.
• Partner with contracts, finance, compliance, security, operations, and BD teams.
• Advise on corporate governance and strategic initiatives.
• Support transactions and other complex corporate matters.
• Serve as trusted advisor to C-suite and senior leadership.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to attorneys and legal staff.
