Job summary

Infleqtion, Inc. seeks a Senior Counsel, Government Contracts to partner with the Chief Legal Officer and lead government contracting efforts across a high-growth quantum technology company.

Approximately 70–80% of this role centers on federal government contracting, with the remainder handling broader legal and operational work. The ideal candidate brings deep regulatory knowledge, strong negotiation skills, and a track record advising on complex government programs.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school with outstanding academic credentials.
• 8+ years of relevant legal experience focusing on federal government contracting.
• Experience negotiating and counseling on complex federal government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiation, interpretation, and management of government agreements including OTAs and federal contracts.
• Advise business and program teams on FAR, DFARS, and export-control requirements across the lifecycle.
• Develop templates, playbooks, and training to enable rapid, compliant business execution.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders on risk allocation, bid strategy, and program execution.
• Oversee governance, documentation, and escalation for high-risk or nonstandard terms.
