Job summary

Twenty-Six Defense seeks an experienced compliance and cost accounting professional to lead CAS audits, FPRA activities, and DCAA/DCMA coordination. You will manage and mentor a compliance team, ensuring accurate cost reporting and pricing support for government contracts.

The role requires extensive defense contracting knowledge, strong leadership, and the ability to work cross-functionally with Program, Contracts, Accounting, and Purchasing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required; Master's preferred.
• Specific Degree Field Preferred: Accounting/Finance/Business
• 10+ years of functional experience is required
• 5+ years of management experience is required
• 10+ years of industry experience is required
• Knowledge of military and defense contract compliance regulations
• Experience in Government type contracts including proposals, negotiations, and audits

Responsibilities

• Prepare, revise, and coordinate CAS audits and related cost proposals.
• Monitor CAS coverage status and coordinate with DCAA/DCMA.
• Prepare Forward Pricing Rate Proposals and rate amendments.
• Coordinate FPRA audits and materialize salary and cost reporting.
• Prepare Incurred Cost Proposals and support audits.
• Coordinate Accounting Systems Reviews and DCMA engagements.
• Support Pre and Post Award DCAA audits and TINA audits.
• Assist acquisition activities and mentor staff.
• Oversee workload planning, performance, and development.
