Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or closely related field required; one year accounting experience for degree holders.
• Associate's Degree in Accounting with three years of direct accounting experience.
• Equivalent high school diploma with five years of direct accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs annual audits of elected officials and tests financial activities for compliance with laws, codes, and procedures.
• Compiles financial information into statements format for publication.
• Assists offices by recording accruals and corrections and supports financial analysis.
• Directs the flow of work and supervises audit clerks to ensure timely completion.
