Zusammenfassung

Abdo LLP is seeking a Government Audit Senior Associate to support auditing and assurance engagements for public-sector clients, including cities, counties, and school districts. You will mentor emerging professionals and help with firm initiatives, contributing to a team-oriented culture.

Located in Minnesota with flexible hybrid work, you will conduct technical research, manage engagement deliverables, and support leadership discussions with governing bodies, while maintaining confidentiality

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• 3+ years of experience in the practice area with at least one year on complex engagements.
• CPA certification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Complete and evaluate audit workpapers per professional standards with proper documentation.
• Coordinate with clients to establish engagement schedules and plan staffing with Managers and Partners.
• Serve as liaison to facilitate timely collection, review, and processing of documentation.
• Prepare, review, and finalize audit reports and financial statements.
