Job summary

Sikich is seeking a Senior Audit Manager to lead a team of auditing professionals in the US locations including Alexandria, VA, Columbus, OH, and Indianapolis, IN. The role requires strong leadership, CPA, and extensive financial statement audit experience, with a security clearance.

You will supervise engagements, review work products, apply Government Auditing Standards, and collaborate with clients to deliver high-quality audit services while growing the practice through business development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) mandatory.
• Minimum of 8 years of financial statement audit experience.
• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Provide first line supervision to a team of auditing professionals.
• Review work papers, findings, and reports for quality and consistency with auditing standards and firm guidelines.
• Design and oversee audit plans using Government Auditing Standards including sampling and testing.
• Evaluate the results of audit procedures to determine impact on the audit plan and conclusions.
• Develop team effectively by delegating tasks and providing guidance.
• Communicate with client and management in a timely and professional manner.
