Job summary

Sikich LLP in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Senior Accountant in the Audit practice to work closely with engagement leaders to ensure timely completion of financial statement audits and deliver high-quality service to external clients and internal stakeholders. Reporting to the Audit Manager, you will supervise staff and interns, review work product, and contribute to engagement success.

A BA/BS in Accounting or Finance and 2+ years of public accounting experience are required; CPA eligibility

Qualifications

• 2+ years of progressive public accounting background with in-charge responsibilities.
• Strong technical accounting skills with proficiency in US GAAP and audit preparation software.
• CPA certification or eligibility to sit is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and review audit tests sufficient to support opinions on financial statements.
• Develop and mentor staff and interns; supervise work during engagements.
• Build relationships with clients to enhance satisfaction and engagement success.
