Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience; public accounting or audit preferred.
• CPA or CPA pursuit preferred.
• Experience in local government/utility or governmental accounting preferred.
• Proficient in advanced MS-Excel functions.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative spirit and adaptability to change.

Responsibilities

• Consult and communicate with client accounting and finances teams.
• Process and post day-to-day accounting transactions.
• Prepare financial statements and internal management reports.
• Assist with year-end close and audit work papers.
• Provide dashboards, metrics, and analytical reporting.
• Support budget and long-term planning.
• Implement integrated technology solutions for client accounting teams.
• Maintain financial records in compliance with guidelines.
