Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/business admin or related field.
• Four years of accounting experience or equivalent.
• CPA designation preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of GAAP, GASB, and UGG federal requirements.
• Ability to analyze financial statements and internal controls.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex financial statements and ACFR support.
• Analyze financial statements and internal controls; recommend improvements.
• Manage tax reporting for local option sales, occupancy, and other taxes.
• Coordinate with EMS and other departments on financial reporting.
• Oversee cash management and banking activities; process journal entries.
