The CFO will oversee a nearly $1B budget, manage debt related to a $2B educational bond, and modernize operations while guiding a team of 40 in accounting, payroll, and investments.

Qualifications

• Five years of governmental or complex organizational financial management experience.
• Three years in a senior management or supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

• Foster interdepartmental collaboration and modernize financial processes across the County.
• Lead debt management and long‑term forecasting for large-scale bond issuances.
• Oversee ERP optimization (Tyler/MUNIS) and cross‑department data workflows.
• Deliver clear financial reports and presentations to the Board and management.
• Develop staff through coaching, documentation, and succession planning.
