Job summary

North Wind is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead accounting operations across multiple entities in a GovCon, private equity-backed environment. The role partners with the CFO to oversee monthly close, controls, and financial reporting, including DCAA and complex cost allocations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with CPA preferred.
• Minimum 12 years in finance or accounting leadership roles.
• Experience managing multi-entity GovCon environments.
• Strong GAAP, FAR and CAS knowledge; DCAA familiarity.
• Proven ability to lead and develop accounting teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting, consolidation, and close processes.
• Ensure internal controls and GAAP compliance across entities.
• Lead audit, financial reporting, and systems optimization initiatives.
• Monitor indirect rates, cost allocations, and pricing support.
• Drive strategic FP&A, board reporting, and lender reporting.
