Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Sr Technical Solution Engineer to join our Cleared Engineering team in McLean, VA. You will own the operational integrity of high-side GovCloud interactions and tackle complex system blocks, working in a secure air-gapped environment.

You will debug, analyze, and run specialized tooling to unblock internal engineering teams, with a focus on compliance and secure facility operations. This role demands hands-on cloud, Linux, and scripting capabilities in a critical

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, Support Engineering, DevSecOps, or related roles.
• Proficiency in at least one modern language (Python, Go, Bash, Java).
• Familiarity with IaC tools Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Hands-on debugging and systems administration in major clouds (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong Linux/Unix, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and automated patch deployment.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Math, Eng or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own operational integrity of high-side GovCloud interactions within secure facilities.
• Perform advanced debugging, deep-dive environment analysis, and run tooling to unblock internal teams.
• Navigate evolving secure facility models and SCIF workflows.
• Engineer out systemic roadblocks to ensure compliant, reliable platform operations.
• Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to maintain compliance.
