Windward Ltd. is building a first-of-its-kind GovCloud environment in a federal boundary.

You will own a greenfield AWS/Government stack, including accounts, networking, IAM/KMS, encryption, logging, and boundary protection, with full lifecycle ownership from design to audit readiness. You will lead end-to-end migration of federal workloads, drive FedRAMP authorization, and work with auditors, 3PAO, and prime contractors.

Formación

• Must have led FedRAMP authorization or commercial-to-GovCloud migration end-to-end.
• Ability to conduct a control-by-control audit with defensible findings and remediation plans.
• Experience managing engineers and leading teams delivering government workloads.

Responsabilidades

• Build GovCloud environment from scratch including accounts, networking, identity, encryption, logging, and boundary protection.
• Own the environment's availability, security posture, patch state, cost and audit readiness.
• Lead end-to-end migration of federal workloads with plan, cutover and rollback criteria.
• Conduct internal audits with remediation plans and defend assessments to external assessors.
• Define and defend the FedRAMP authorization boundary with evidence-backed controls.
• Own infrastructure as code (Terraform) with drift detection and policy guardrails.
• Build and operate Kubernetes workloads (EKS) with hardened configurations and upgrade cadence.
• Create FedRAMP-compliant CI/CD with signed artifacts, SBOMs and controlled promotion paths.
• Implement continuous monitoring and ConMon reporting including vulnerability management.
• Stand up centralized logging, audit trails and alerting to meet federal retention; integrate IR/on-call.
• Collaborate with CISO, 3PAO and prime contractors on assessment readiness and SSP maintenance.
• Establish runbooks, DR/BCP procedures and RPO/RTO validation for federal workloads.
• Lead the US federal infrastructure team and set engineering standards and on-call culture.
