Job summary

Gov Services Hub in Baton Rouge, LA seeks a Senior Business Analyst to drive analysis and documentation of business functions in an Agile environment. You will elicit requirements, build user stories, manage the backlog, and support project design with IT teams.

Remote role with occasional visits to Baton Rouge; state government IT modernization experience and PMI-PBA/CBAP are preferred. Seven-plus years of experience required and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Business Analyst focusing on eliciting, analyzing and documenting business functions, processes and requirements.
• 2+ years in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and maintaining a healthy product backlog.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience creating requirements documentation for complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Use Agile methods to analyze and document business functions and requirements.
• Consult with management to identify and document needs and objectives.
• Analyze integration of business functions with technology.
• Create user stories and capture technical requirements as needed.
• Build out and support backlog management and participate in Scrum ceremonies.
