Job summary

Invited, owner-operator of Oak Creek Golf Club in Maryland, seeks a Golf Course Superintendent to lead the Golf Course Maintenance and Grounds teams. You’ll coordinate with the General Manager to schedule maintenance around member play and outings, ensuring optimal course conditions and guest satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in golf course maintenance management, a 2-year Agronomy degree, and strong knowledge of regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in Golf Course Maintenance management.
• Minimum 2-year College Agronomy Degree.
• Bilingual (English – Spanish) communication ability preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of regulatory requirements and recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Train and implement procedures for the Golf Course Maintenance Staff.
• Perform Chemical and Fertilizer applications.
• Conduct performance evaluations of the Golf Course Maintenance staff as directed.
• Provide feedback to staff and recommendations to Senior Management.
• Determine personnel actions and coordinate with HR, Legal, and Senior Management as necessary.
• Assign and develop work schedules; recruit and hire staff to meet needs.
• Develop relationships with Members to promote golf activities.
• Communicate effectively with staff, members, and Senior Management.
