Job summary

RFMBG Lincolnshire, LLC in Lincolnshire, IL, is seeking a Superintendent to oversee Crane’s Landing golf course and the broader grounds. You will manage maintenance, construction, and operations, directing the greens, fairways, tees, and clubhouse grounds while coordinating with the Golf Director on budgets and standards.

The role requires a degree in agronomy or turf management, plus a minimum of five years in golf course maintenance and two years as an Assistant Superintendent.

Qualifications

• Degree in agronomy or turf management is required.
• Minimum five years in golf course maintenance.
• Two years as an Assistant Superintendent.
• Minimum two years as a golf superintendent.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with guests and staff. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate and initiate golf course projects within annual budgets and capital plans.
• Develops and implements schedules for fungus, weed, pesticide, and fertilizer applications.
• Calibrate and direct proper application of all fertilizer and pesticide treatments.
• Oversee daily operation of irrigation control system and schedule; troubleshoot and repair components.
• Supervise grounds staff; train, coach, and mentor to maintain standards.
• Attend weekly department/managerial meetings and coordinate with Golf Director.
