Bread Financial is seeking a Senior Associate Software Engineer to implement software from technical designs, write clean code, and execute unit tests. The role emphasizes full stack development across frontend, backend, and UI/UX components within an Agile team.

You will participate in code reviews, drive project outcomes, and troubleshoot complex issues across the SDLC. A cloud certification and strong team collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field of study or equivalent, relevant work experience.
• 1 cloud certification- AWS cloud practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals or Google Cloud- Cloud Digital Leader
• 3-5 years of work experience in related field (Software Development Life Cycle across Full Stack, Frontend and Backend Development and UI / UX engineering).

Responsabilités

• Conduct unit tests to verify functionality and identify issues. Actively participate in peer code reviews to ensure compliance with standards and continue learning best practices.
• Take a prominent role in leading full stack development projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions.
• Build on experience to create responsive user interfaces and robust backend systems, utilizing modern frameworks and technologies for scalable applications.
• Enhance user interfaces by applying advanced UI/UX design principles and collaborating with designers to ensure intuitive experiences.
• Collaborate in a cross-functional Agile team to achieve project goals and seek feedback to improve technical and business knowledge.
• Gain proficiency in at least one programming language and contribute to development of foundational components for financial applications.
