Job summary

Bread Financial Group in Columbus, OH, is seeking a skilled software developer to design and enhance fintech applications across the full stack. You will translate business requirements into clean, scalable code and collaborate with Agile teams through the SDLC.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of full-stack experience, strong Golang and frontend skills, and cloud certification. You will test, review, and optimize user experiences while contributing to a fast-moving, customer-focused product

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years in software development across full-stack, frontend, backend and UI/UX engineering.
• 2+ years of Golang experience preferred; 5–8 years total experience requested.

Develop and enhance financial technology applications across the full stack, translating technical designs and business requirements into clean, maintainable software. Test and review code, troubleshoot defects and incidents, improve user experiences, and collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience, is required, along with a cloud certification such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, or Google Cloud Digital Leader. The minimum experience requirement is 3–5 years in software development across full-stack, frontend, backend, and UI/UX engineering; 5–8 years and 2+ years of Golang experience are preferred.
