Job summary

Zero Hash is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Chicago to help architect and build new features and scale the gateway to Finance 2.0. You’ll work on an event-driven microservices stack, focusing on Golang services, with strong emphasis on resiliency and scale.

You will collaborate with platform engineers, respond to production incidents, and communicate with client tech teams as needed. This role offers high impact in a fast-growing FinTech infrastructure company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably in FinTech.
• Deep proficiency with Golang and building scalable systems.
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the company’s vital business by contributing to the design and development of software in an event-driven microservices environment.
• Develop microservices in Golang
• Work with platform engineers to setup new services
• Respond to production issues and alerts
• Communicate directly with client technical teams when necessary
