Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Generative AI Specialist with strong Go backend expertise for remote US work. You will design high-performance services, build cloud-native Go applications, and mentor engineers while contributing to internal libraries and tooling.

The role emphasizes concurrency, distributed systems, and robust observability across Go services, with collaboration across product, design, and operations to deliver reliable, scalable software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of professional software engineering experience with significant Go expertise.
• Strong understanding of Go concurrency patterns (goroutines, channels, contexts).
• Hands-on experience building production gRPC and/or REST APIs in Go.
• Experience with Kubernetes-native development (client-go, controller-runtime).
• Solid experience with relational and key-value data stores (PostgreSQL, Redis).
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and container-based deployment.
• Excellent debugging and performance-engineering skills.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement performant backend services and APIs in Go with a focus on concurrency and resource management.
• Build cloud-native applications using Go and Kubernetes-native libraries.
• Develop CLI tools, Kubernetes controllers, and custom operators for internal platforms.
• Implement gRPC and REST APIs with observability and security.
• Profile and optimize Go applications for memory, GC, and goroutine behavior.
• Integrate with messaging systems and data stores.
• Build automated tests including unit, integration, and benchmark tests.
• Implement structured logging, metrics, and distributed tracing.
• Lead code reviews and uphold engineering standards in Go projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal Go libraries and tooling.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
