Job summary

Xebia, a global AI-first engineering partner, seeks a senior fullstack engineer with a backend focus to design scalable backend services and craft Go/TypeScript stacks. You will develop APIs, implement complex business workflows, and ensure data reliability with PostgreSQL in a fast-growing AI environment.

You will establish engineering practices, guardrails for AI-generated code, and participate in architectural decisions while collaborating with a skilled team to deliver production-ready,

Qualifications

• Senior-level fullstack software engineer with backend focus.
• Strong Go backend experience.
• Very good TypeScript knowledge.
• Solid PostgreSQL experience.
• Hands-on API design and development.
• Experience with complex workflows or large state machines.
• Strong automated testing, especially end-to-end tests.
• Experience in AI-first or AI-assisted development environments.
• Ability to establish guardrails around AI-generated code.
• Sound technical decision-making as requirements evolve.
• Good English (min. B2).
• EU work region and work permit required.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing backend services and APIs using Go.
• Building fullstack solutions with Go and TypeScript.
• Designing and implementing complex business workflows and state machines.
• Working with PostgreSQL for data consistency and reliability.
• Developing automated tests, with emphasis on end-to-end testing.
