Job summary

ImagineX is seeking a Senior GoLang Developer to lead scalable backend services and contribute to React.js front-end apps. You will architect core platform components, optimize performance, and collaborate with product, DevOps, and leadership. This role is fully onsite in Atlanta, with daily client-site work.

You will design microservices, APIs, and distributed systems, while mentoring engineers and upholding security and quality standards. This is a hands-on, senior leadership position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years backend engineering with Go
• 2+ years React.js frontend experience
• Experience with microservices at scale
• Proficiency with REST, gRPC, GraphQL
• Cloud platforms and containerization
• Strong SQL and NoSQL knowledge
• Familiarity with CI/CD and monitoring tools
• Onsite work at Midtown Atlanta

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Go backend services.
• Build reusable React components and frontend features.
• Architect distributed systems and microservices.
• Document APIs (REST, gRPC, GraphQL) for internal and frontend use.
• Optimize APIs, data pipelines, and service-to-service communication.
• Implement CI/CD and cloud-native deployment practices.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Collaborate with product, DevOps, and frontend teams.
• Gather requirements onsite and translate into technical solutions.
• Lead technical decisions on system design and data modeling.
• Mentor junior engineers and perform code reviews.
• Ensure security best practices and secure data handling.
