Liftoff is a leading AI-powered performance marketing platform for the mobile app economy. The Infrastructure Team builds tooling for thousands of servers, with real-time data pipelines and scalable backend architectures.

This role offers end-to-end ownership and the chance to impact millions of users and Liftoff's revenue. Preferred candidates have 5+ years of software engineering, strong CS fundamentals, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 5+ years software engineering experience.
• Strong CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, architecting systems).
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience building high-scale distributed systems and backend architectures.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and get things done.
• Genuine interest and/or experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex distributed systems problems.

Responsibilities

• Own projects end-to-end and collaborate with a small team.
• Ship code multiple times a day and measure impact at scale.
• Contribute to an engineering excellence culture with tooling, risk-driven testing, explainable systems, and code review.
• Become an authority in Go and other cutting-edge open-source technologies.
