As a Senior Engineer on the Package and Image Automation team, you will design systems, implement CLI tools, and help shape the squad’s roadmap, while writing production Go and collaborating across time zones to raise reliability and

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of software engineering experience
• Strong Go expertise
• Experience with AI/LLM integration and agent-based tooling
• Systems design for scalable, loosely coupled architectures
• Experience building developer tools, CLIs, or automation platforms
• Deep Linux/build systems knowledge (package managers, build tools)
• Familiarity with container ecosystems (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Excellent written communication and collaboration across time zones
• Based in the US or Canada

Responsibilities

• Build the automation platform to orchestrate package creation, test generation, and image building
• Develop AI-powered tooling, LLM-integrated pipelines, and validation loops
• Write production Go code for CLI tools and services
• Create quality tooling and automation to improve customer reliability
• Contribute to roadmap planning and architectural decisions
• Collaborate with distributed teams across time zones (US/Canada, EU, India)
