Job summary

Commerce seeks a Senior Software Engineer - Backend to join the fully remote Engineering team. You will design and scale backend services, focusing on Go-based systems, data-intensive workloads, and robust infrastructure.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams will drive architecture decisions. You will contribute to DevOps automation, performance tuning, and observability practices, leveraging Kubernetes and Docker in a modern CI/CD environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience with GoLang (strongly preferred).
• 2+ years with MySQL, Redis, and other data stores.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker is preferred.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Linux, and observability tools like New Relic.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on architecture, design, and development of scalable backend services.
• Build and maintain high-performance data-intensive SaaS infrastructure.
• Improve DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline automation.
