Job summary

Openkrill is seeking an experienced Backend Software Engineer with 4+ years of Go experience to help drive and evolve our product. You will contribute early to architecture and solve complex challenges at scale in a fast-paced, security-focused environment.

You will work with a modern microservices stack including Go, Kubernetes, BigTable, BigQuery, Spanner, Redis, Docker, Etcd, building secure-by-design software that handles real-time data across hundreds of thousands of endpoints.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong Go (Golang) background with production services.
• Experience with large-scale databases and streaming platforms.
• Familiarity with microservices and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize large-scale, fault-tolerant systems handling billions of events.
• Architect and implement security products to protect customer data.
• Analyze performance and troubleshoot scaling challenges.
• Develop and ship production backend services using Go.
• Work with a microservices stack including Go, Kubernetes, BigTable, BigQuery, Spanner, Redis, Docker, Etcd.
• Ensure secure-by-design software communicating with hundreds of thousands of endpoints.
