Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Go Developer to lead the modernization of a large-scale SaaS platform. The role focuses on migrating workloads from Azure/Databricks to AWS, owning the EC2 estate, and driving IaC initiatives.

You will build Go-based services, manage EKS clusters, and integrate Databricks within AWS. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in cloud infrastructure, strong Go skills, Terraform CDK experience, and solid English communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cloud infrastructure and modernization projects.
• Strong Go programming knowledge.
• Experience with Terraform at scale (IaC).
• Experience with Databricks on AWS and workspace design.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end modernization initiative, migrating workloads from Azure/Databricks to AWS.
• Design, build, and maintain large-scale Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform.
• Own the EC2 estate and all related infrastructure components in full.
• Build and manage Amazon EKS clusters, including day-2 operations.
• Set up and integrate Databricks within AWS, defining workspace and cluster design patterns.
• Develop Go-based services and tools to support modernization initiatives.
• Carry out cross-cloud data migrations using AWS DMS.
• Manage Active Directory synchronization, file system migrations, and application onboarding processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define migration scope and execute IaC and data migrations.
