Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking a Senior GNSS Systems Engineer to own the spacecraft GNSS architecture and drive end-to-end design for a high-accuracy satellite-based positioning and timing service.

You will lead signal processing, clock disciplining, and time transfer across S-Band and L-Band with a focus on real-world TT&C integration. The role requires 10+ years in GNSS or related fields, plus hands-on experience with multiple constellations and precision time solutions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or closely related field.
• 10+ years of hands-on GNSS systems engineering, RF systems engineering, satellite payloads, TT&C design, or precision PNT development.
• Hands-on experience with two or more major GNSS constellations at signal and systems level.
• Experience designing or contributing to precision time transfer systems with nanosecond-level accuracy.
• Knowledge of Kalman filter-based navigation/time solutions in real systems and RF link budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead spacecraft GNSS architecture as technical lead and subsystem owner from requirements through hardware acceptance.
• Own end-to-end GNSS subsystem design and integration with TT&C and PNT service.
• Develop and validate signal processing, time transfer, and clock disciplining approaches.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to define test and qualification criteria for flight hardware.
