Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Grand Prairie, Texas, is seeking engineers to design, develop, and test guidance, navigation, and control algorithms for aerospace systems. You will work on aircraft, spacecraft, and launch vehicles across flight regimes, contributing to simulations, software, and hardware integration.

You will join a team focused on robust control laws, state estimation, and hardware-in-the-loop testing, with opportunities for travel to test ranges and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• BS in a STEM field as listed.
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong mathematical foundations: linear algebra, dynamics, state estimation.
• Experience with simulation/test environments (6-DOF IFS, HWIL, flight tests).
• Proficiency with Git and programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, C++, FORTRAN, or Ada.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain Secret Clearance is required.
• Preferred experience with PAC-3/IAMD modeling and Linux-based OS.
