Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Five+ years in controls, navigation, robotics, or autonomous software.
• Strong understanding of classical and modern control theory.
• Experience with localization, navigation, trajectory generation, or state estimation.
• Proficiency in C++, Python, MATLAB/Simulink.
• Experience developing software in Linux-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, integrate, and validate GNC algorithms for autonomous equipment.
• Contribute to vehicle motion-control including steering, propulsion, braking, speed control.
• Develop and tune feedback-control algorithms for stability and performance.
• Support navigation to move safely through fields and defined work areas.
• Develop localization/state-estimation using GPS/GNSS, RTK, IMUs, encoders, odometry.
• Contribute to trajectory-generation and path-planning for agricultural ops.
• Collaborate with perception, embedded software, systems, test, and field ops.
• Own defined GNC features from development through field validation.
