Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Principal GNC Engineer - Modeling & Simulation to join the Vehicle Engineering team in Melbourne, FL. You will develop and test air vehicle simulation models used for fly-by-wire control systems and enhance GNC modeling for high-fidelity flight simulations.

Ideal candidates have MATLAB, Simulink, C/C++, Python, and experience with configuration management tools. A DoD Secret clearance is required, with relocation assistance possible and travel up to

Qualifications

BS in a STEM discipline with 5+ years of relevant engineering experience or MS with 3+ years.
BS or MS in STEM with appropriate years of experience as specified for Principal roles.
Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance or be in Continuous Evaluation.

Responsibilities

Develop, integrate, test and document air vehicle simulation subsystem plant models for fly-by-wire systems.
Mature and integrate GNC modeling for high fidelity flight simulation environments.
