The position requires proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink, real-time software development experience, and a Bachelor’s degree in aeronautical engineering or a closely related field. This role offers a salary range of $150,000 to $250,000 depending on experience and benefits including health insurance and a retirement plan.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience for mid-level, 15-35 for senior level.
• Experience in controls design, development, and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Support flight control system design and development.
• Participate in ground and flight testing.
• Provide technical support during entire project lifecycle.

Skills

Expert controls advice during flight controls life cycle

Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, systems engineering

Troubleshooting complex systems

Experience with unmanned air vehicle systems

Control loop design and performance analysis

Developing physics-based models

Analyzing ground and flight test data

Proficient with MATLAB and Simulink

Real-time software development

Education
