Job summary

Neros Technologies is seeking an experienced GNC Engineer to own terminal guidance and the control path for our unmanned aircraft. You will shape the guidance law, compute aimpoints, and manage achievable acceleration while interfacing with flight control.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing guidance, navigation, and control software for missiles, interceptors, unmanned systems, or autonomous vehicles; ownership of a guidance/control function in flight.
• Expert-level knowledge of terminal homing guidance and related formulas, time-to-go estimation, lead-pursuit geometry, and miss-distance analysis.
• proven delivery of guidance/control software on a physical air vehicle (not only in simulation).
• Proficiency in C++ and Python, including embedded or real-time development under deterministic execution and latency constraints on resource-limited flight computers.
• Experience with state estimation and sensor fusion (Kalman/extended Kalman), covariance propagation, and observability analysis.
• Experience with flight dynamics and control, autopilot interfaces, and actuator saturation limits.

Responsibilities

• Own terminal guidance and the control path across Neros unmanned aircraft.
• Address guidance law, aimpoint command, and achievable-acceleration management.
• Interface with flight control and validate engagement against maneuvering targets using real data.
