Job summary

Archer in San Jose, CA is hiring a senior engineer to architect CI/CD pipelines and automate testing for flight dynamics and vehicle simulation. You will integrate MATLAB/Simulink models with embedded platforms and manage interfaces across teams.

You will build toolchains for code generation from Simulink, maintain HPC resources for Monte Carlo runs, and collaborate across FD&C and Platform embedded software teams. Strong C/C++ and scripting skills are required.

Qualifications

• BS/Advanced degree in aerospace engineering, computer science, or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in aerospace, software, or systems engineering.
• Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink and auto-code generation tools.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain CI/CD workflows and automated testing pipelines for GNC and Vehicle Simulation groups using GitHub Actions and TeamCity.
• Develop and maintain toolchains to generate, compile, and deploy Simulink and MATLAB code across targets (desktop, HIL, flight computers).
• Design HPC infrastructure to support large-scale Monte Carlo simulations and parallelized testing.
• Manage interfaces between Virtual Vehicle models and embedded platforms, including ICDs and data dictionaries.
• Develop C/C++ wrapper functions and harnesses to integrate code within MATLAB/Simulink.
