Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking Principal Systems Engineer (T-03) or Sr. Principal Systems Engineer (T-04) to support the GN&C team.

The position is located in Roy, Utah or Manhattan Beach, California, on the Sentinel program. You will embed in the GN&C department, developing system engineering artifacts, coordinating with design teams, and ensuring configuration baselines in Cameo and DOORS while engaging with customers and subcontractors to align requirements with contract

Qualifications

US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance (within scope, investigation date within last 6 years).
Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period.
Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle: requirements, management, verification & validation.
Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, or similar).
Experience delivering technical presentations to customers or leadership.

Responsibilities

Embed in GN&C department and provide Systems Engineering support for the GN&C subsystem to ensure sound engineering artifacts for reviews.
Coordinate with higher level system engineers and design engineering to Baseline system documentation in Cameo and DOORS and push artifacts through approval.
Communicate with customer and subcontractors to align requirements with contract constraints and subcontracts.
