Blue Origin is seeking a spacecraft GN&C engineer to contribute to the Guidance, Navigation, and Control subsystem on lunar vehicles. You will derive requirements, conduct analyses, and coordinate with propulsion, structures, and dynamics teams to ensure performance goals are met.

The role requires strong system engineering skills, written and verbal communication, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. A focus on safety and quality aligns with Blue Origin’s mission.

Qualifications

• Experience in full development lifecycle of GN&C subsystem on at least one aerospace program.
• Experience in development and analysis of GN&C algorithms.
• Demonstrated experience in development and testing of navigation sensors and control actuators.
• Demonstrated experience in implementation and testing of GN&C software and hardware.

Responsibilities

• Develop GN&C requirements with flow downs to component levels and companion verification methods.
• Manage technical budgets and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with subsystems and spacecraft systems engineers to define subsystem boundaries and interfaces.
• Perform analyses, simulations, and tests to verify component and subsystem specifications.
• Develop verification and validation plans for software and hardware components and the integrated subsystem.
• Support simulations and tools for verification of subsystem functionalities.
• Assist with updates to schedule, resources, cost, and risks.
