Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking an experienced Sr. GN&C Engineer in Englewood, CO for a 1 year contract-to-hire role. The candidate will design and validate GN&C algorithms, develop simulations, and support flight software development across a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include trajectory analysis, Monte Carlo simulations, and system maturation activities, with strong emphasis on CAE tools, modeling, and collaboration across engineering domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Typically 10+ years of aerospace engineering experience.
• Advanced experience with CAE tools, modeling, analysis, and simulation environments.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering and product development teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support complex technical programs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, analyze, and validate GN&C algorithms for aerospace vehicles and mission systems.
• Develop and execute simulations to evaluate vehicle performance, flight characteristics, stability, and mission capabilities.
• Support flight software development, integration, and verification activities.
• Utilize CAE tools, modeling environments, and simulation frameworks for complex system analyses.
• Perform trajectory analysis, Monte Carlo simulations, and trade studies to evaluate design alternatives.
• Collaborate with systems, software, avionics, and hardware teams throughout development and testing.
• Lead technical studies, baselines, and system maturation activities in complex environments.
• Support product development from concept through deployment.
• Analyze sensor performance, vehicle dynamics, and mission requirements for system-level success.
• Contribute to technical documentation, design reviews, risk assessments, and engineering decisions.
