Job summary

Duke University’s Marcus Center for Cellular Cures has an immediate opening for a Sr. GMP Manufacturing Technician on-site in their GMP lab at 2400 Pratt Street, Durham, NC. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in science or engineering and at least two years’ GMP laboratory experience.

You will work in a clean room, operate critical equipment, maintain batch records, and ensure regulatory compliance. The position includes training responsibilities and opportunities for professional growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of two years laboratory experience, GMP/regulations preferred.
• Ability to follow GMP guidelines and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture cellular products in a clean room under GMP conditions.
• Operate and maintain lab equipment; document batch records and logs.
• Support daily GMP facility operations and ensure compliance.
• Assist in validations, SOPs, and equipment calibration.
• Train new hires and coordinate reagent preparation and safety.
