Job summary

Bob Bell Chevrolet is hiring trained Master GM/Chevrolet Technicians, Diesel Techs, and an EV Technician to handle high-volume work in Baltimore, MD. Earn substantial commissions and a broad pay range with GM EV specialty focus.

The role emphasizes diagnostics, transmission and EV system repairs, warranty work, and strong customer service. This is a full-time on-site position with opportunities for career growth across multiple Maryland dealerships.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of technician experience required.
• Transmission and/or EV experience.
• Maryland State Inspection License a plus.
• GM-certified technicians encouraged to apply.
• Solid skills in diagnostics, engine, electrical, and mechanical repair (B-level or higher).
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Strong communication and customer service mindset
• Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude
• Ability to learn new technology and operate electronic diagnostic tools

Responsibilities

• Perform quality vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
• Specialize in transmission and EV system repairs
• Accurately complete repair orders with efficiency and attention to detail
• Test components and systems using advanced diagnostic tools
• Communicate clearly with Service Advisors regarding additional work needed and time estimates
• Execute manufacturer warranty repairs to specification
• Test-drive vehicles before and after service as needed
