Job summary

Bob Bell Chevrolet of Baltimore is seeking a Master GM/Chevrolet Technician, Diesel Tech and EV Technician to join a high-volume service team. The role emphasizes GM/E V expertise, with a strong earning potential and growth opportunities across multiple GM platforms.

You will diagnose, repair and service vehicles with a focus on transmissions and EV systems. Qualified candidates have GM experience, EV/diesel exposure, and a valid MD license, plus a commitment to customer service and teamwork in

Qualifications

• 2+ years of technician experience required.
• Transmission and/or EV experience.
• Maryland State Inspection License a plus.
• GM-certified technicians encouraged to apply.
• Strong diagnostics, engine, electrical and mechanical repair skills (B-level+).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Strong communication and customer service mindset.
• Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude.
• Ability to learn new technology and operate electronic diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs per standards.
• Specialize in transmission and EV system repairs.
• Complete repair orders accurately with efficiency and detail.
• Test components and systems using advanced diagnostic tools.
• Communicate with Service Advisors about additional work and time estimates.
• Execute manufacturer warranty repairs to specification.
• Test-drive vehicles before and after service as needed.
