Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a Senior Vehicle Mechanic to maintain FedEx fleet and ground support equipment, perform diagnostics, and document repairs. The role requires adhering to OSHA and DOT standards and supervising technicians and trainees.

A valid driver's license and the ability to lift 50 pounds are required. Minimum education includes a high school diploma/GED with vocational training preferred; ASE Master certification is preferred and four years of advanced repair

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED; vocational training preferred; ASE Master certification preferred.
• Four (4) years fleet, automotive or truck vehicle advanced technical repair and maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely maintenance for FedEx vehicle fleet and ground support equipment.
• Document work with repair orders and parts ordering using FedEx computer systems.
• Ensure work is in accordance with OSHA and DOT standards.
• Guide and supports a staff of technicians and trainees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
