Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive trade finance, treasury, corporate finance, international finance, or related experience.
• Corporate trade finance experience within a corporate environment, not solely banking.
• Strong knowledge of letters of credit, bank guarantees, standby letters of credit, and related instruments.
• Demonstrated ability to work with global stakeholders across multiple countries and time zones.
• Ability to educate and train internal stakeholders on trade finance matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage corporate trade finance activities related to LC, standby LC, bank guarantees, documentary collections, and related instruments.
• Advise internal stakeholders on structures, documentation, risk considerations, and commercial implications.
• Negotiate terms with customers, suppliers, banks, and internal partners to protect the company’s interests.
• Review and approve trade finance language in contracts, PO, bid packages, and related documents.
• Coordinate with Treasury, Legal, Sales, Operations, and other leaders to structure trade finance solutions.
• Provide global oversight across regions with consistent controls and risk management.
• Coordinate issuance, amendment, renewal, and pricing of trade finance instruments with banking partners.
• Evaluate trade finance risk including country, counterparty, and working capital impact.
• Maintain records, reporting, forecasting, and dashboards for letters of credit and related obligations.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, International Business, or a related field

Advanced degree or professional certification such as CTP
