Job summary

CECO Environmental is seeking a Trade Analyst to support corporate trade finance activities from the Addison, TX office. You will work with cross‑functional teams to evaluate terms, cash flows, and risk, while ensuring compliance with policies and contractual obligations.

The role requires 3+ years in trade finance or related finance functions, strong analytical ability, and expert Excel skills. Travel may be limited; this is an on‑site position in Addison, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• 3+ years in trade finance, treasury, corporate finance, or related finance function.
• Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives and process improvements.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and identify trends.
• Advanced Excel and strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Support corporate trade finance activities, including negotiations and issuances of letters of credit, bank guarantees, surety bonds, documentary collections, and related documentation.
• Review and coordinate trade finance requirements for commercial projects, customer contracts, supplier arrangements, and international transactions.
• Partner with sales, project management, finance, legal, operations, and treasury teams to evaluate payment milestone terms, project cash flows, risk exposures, and contract terms related to trade finance.
• Prepare trade finance reporting for tracking and forecasting for management review.
• Coordinate with banking partners and internal stakeholders on issuance, amendments, renewals, claims, releases, fees, and compliance documentation.
• Lead or contribute to trade finance process improvements, reporting automation, documentation standards, and system enhancements.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure trade finance activities comply with company policies, internal controls, banking requirements, and applicable contractual obligations.
