Job summary

Garmin is seeking a Senior International Trade Compliance Specialist at its U.S. headquarters in the Kansas City area. The role leads import/export and supply chain security activities to ensure compliance with CBP, EAR, ITAR, OFAC, and C-TPAT.

You will develop policies, drive ITC initiatives globally, and mentor teams while coordinating with management on project plans and risk assessments. A senior candidate with 8+ years of related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years in a related compliance or ITC role.
• Strong project management, leadership and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams on regulatory projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead import/export and supply chain security compliance programs.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for ITC activities.
• Drive global ITC initiatives and project management.
• Lead cross-functional teams on regulatory compliance projects.
• Conduct regular compliance reviews of import/export activities.
• Oversee DPL screening and denied party list resolutions.
