Garmin is seeking a Senior Buyer at its U.S. headquarters in the Kansas City area. You will develop and manage acquisition, execution, and lifecycle of complex products and services, while leading supplier relationships and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities include optimizing QCDS, negotiating contracts, supporting audits, and driving continuous improvement within ISO9000/QS9000 and ITAR compliance frameworks. A strong background in MRPII/MPS is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication across functions with ethical standards.
• Experience in supplier selection and performance management.
• Proven negotiation and analytical skills for cost optimization.
• Proficiency with MRPII/MPS processes and manufacturing planning.
• Experience with ISO9000/QS9000 and ITAR compliance is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Drive world-class QCDS for suppliers and internal customers.
• Lead supply development with Engineering and Quality teams.
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships.
• Ensure on-time delivery and optimal inventory levels across commodities.
• Mentor procurement staff and support audits and compliance.
