Job summary

The role collaborates with VWGoA, VWAG, and other entities to ensure regulatory adherence while optimizing duty strategies and global trade processes. The position emphasizes strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership abilities with extensive interaction across Finance, Compliance, and Supply Chain teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Political Science, or equivalent experience.
• Licensed US Customs Broker preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in a similar or compatible role.

Responsibilities

• Track performance of Customs service providers and compliance programs.
• Provide support to Supply Chain for least-cost duty strategies.
• Develop and manage internal control programs for import/export compliance.
• Research and interpret laws/regulations for import/export issues.
• Oversee and manage FTA processes and related filings.
• Lead system maintenance and enhancements with the Global Trade Management software.
