Job summary

Target is seeking a Global Supply Planning Senior Manager, Apparel, to lead upstream supply and inventory strategies that deliver speed, reliability and growth for Owned Brands. You will align planning, sourcing and production with merchant strategies and influence cross-functional partners.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree plus 6+ years in sourcing, planning or inventory management, strong data analytics, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years relevant sourcing, planning, inventory management, and/or supply planning experience.
• Strong strategic, problem solving, and analytical skills. Demonstrates ability to analyze large sets of data and insights to form a perspective to effectively problem solve and drive decisions.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills demonstrating ability to work effectively with local and overseas partners.
• Flexibility, resiliency and nimbleness; comfortable with ambiguity and working in “grey areas” that are constantly changing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to engage cross-functional team, story tell through data, and keep partners informed.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage competing deliverables and collaborate with and influence a broad group of partners and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute upstream supply strategies to ensure supply reliability.
• Lead long-range capacity planning to align merchant plans with sourcing strategies.
• Own collaborative supply planning with PIM, Sourcing, and vendors.
• Provide visibility to production status, milestones, lead times, constraints, risks, and WIP/finished goods positions.
• Deliver performance reporting with KPIs tied to speed, flexibility, reliability, and business impact.
• Contribute to building and scaling Global Supply Planning in Owned Brands.
