Job summary

The Senior Global Sourcing Specialist at BDA, LLC is based in the United States with onsite work to deliver end-to-end sourcing for custom hardgoods and softgoods. The role emphasizes autonomy, risk identification, and cross-functional alignment to ensure timely delivery and high impact outcomes.

As a leader, you will mentor team members, partner with PD, Sales, Logistics, and Finance, and drive strategic vendor programs across multiple sites with potential growth into people management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or related field.
• 5–8+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, production on a promotional product/customized goods
• Advanced supplier sourcing, evaluation, and negotiation
• Strong costing and landed cost analysis expertise
• Demonstrated experience managing complex or high-volume programs independently
• Experience working with overseas manufacturers (China preferred)
• Experience in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
• Prior experience mentoring others or leading projects preferred
• Experience with custom products (hardgoods, plush, or similar) strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing strategy and execution for assigned categories or key programs
• Manage multiple and complex projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment to cost, quality, and timeline expectations
• Proactively identify risks, elevate issues early, and drive resolution to protect production timelines and on‑time delivery
• Partner cross‑functionally (PD, Sales, Logistics, Finance) to ensure alignment on timelines, specs, and deliverables
• Influence decision‑making by providing clear recommendations grounded in data and sourcing expertise
• Hold internal stakeholders and suppliers accountable to key milestones, deliverables, and SLA expectations
• Drive supplier selection, onboarding, and performance management with a strategic lens
• Negotiate pricing, MOQs, and production terms to meet business and margin targets
• Oversee production timelines end‑to‑end; ensure issues are addressed before impacting delivery
• Validate and manage landed cost (ELC), proactively identifying variances and improvement opportunities
• Support development and implementation of sourcing SOPs and best practices
• Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on sourcing processes and execution
• Potentially manage direct reports as the role evolves
• Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities, supplier data, and project tracking
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across sourcing and cross‑functional workflows
