Job summary

BDA is seeking a Senior Global Sourcing Specialist to lead sourcing strategy and end-to-end product orders across hardgoods and softgoods. The role operates with autonomy, manages complex programs, and mitigates risks to ensure on-time delivery.

Based in Woodinville, WA with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote, the role collaborates across PD, Sales, Logistics, and Finance, and may evolve into people management while mentoring team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or related field.
• 5–8+ years in sourcing, procurement, production on promotional goods.
• Advanced supplier sourcing, evaluation, and negotiation.
• Strong costing and landed cost analysis expertise.
• Experience with overseas manufacturers (China preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing strategy and execution for assigned categories.
• Manage multiple complex projects, ensuring cost, quality, and timeline expectations.
• Identify risks early and drive resolution to protect production timelines.
• Partner cross-functionally (PD, Sales, Logistics, Finance) to align timelines, specs, and deliverables.
• Influence decision-making by providing clear recommendations grounded in data and sourcing expertise.
• Hold internal stakeholders and suppliers accountable to milestones, deliverables, and SLA expectations.
• Drive supplier selection, onboarding, and performance management with a strategic lens.
• Negotiate pricing, MOQs, and production terms to meet business and margin targets.
• Oversee production timelines end-to-end; address issues before they impact delivery.
• Validate landed cost (ELC), identifying variances and improvement opportunities.
• Support development and implementation of sourcing SOPs and best practices.
• Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on sourcing processes and execution.
• Potentially manage direct reports as the role evolves.
• Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities, supplier data, and project tracking.
• Drive continuous improvement across sourcing and cross-functional workflows.
